New Online Fitment Guide Maps the Armored Fuel Door Across 125 Work Truck Configurations

Fleet buyers and upfitters can now confirm the correct part in seconds across chassis from nine manufacturers and bodies from more than a dozen upfitters, plus emergency apparatus and shuttle platforms.

SARASOTA, Fla., August 11, 2026The Work Truck Fuel Vault today launched an expanded online fitment guide covering 125 work truck configurations, organized by chassis manufacturer, body builder, emergency apparatus maker, and bus or shuttle platform.

Each configuration page lists the typical fuel door opening, the recommended Work Truck Fuel Vault size, whether a finishing bezel is recommended, and how many doors a typical unit carries, along with installation notes specific to that body style.

Chassis coverage includes Ford, Ram, Chevrolet, GMC, Isuzu, Freightliner, International, Hino, and Mitsubishi Fuso. Body coverage includes Knapheide, Reading, Scelzi, Monroe, Auto Truck Group, Duramag, Harbor, Royal Truck Body, Rugby, and Stahl. Emergency and passenger coverage includes E-ONE, Braun, Wheeled Coach, Horton, Blue Bird, Thomas Built, Collins, and Starcraft.

“The number one question we get is simply, does it fit my truck,” said a company spokesperson. “Now the answer is one click away, and if a customer still is not sure, they send us a photo and a tape measure reading and we confirm it before they order.”

The fitment guide is free to use and requires no account.
