Why This Truck Is a Target

  • The factory cap on a Ford F-350 through F-600 is fully exposed — no lock, no cover.
  • A flatbed build parks outside overnight where siphoning happens.
  • One siphoning event costs $500 to $1,000 in fuel plus lost work hours.
  • Contamination — sugar, water, dirt — can destroy an entire fuel system.

Scelzi FlatbedCommon Questions

Does the Work Truck Fuel Vault fit a 2012–2026 Scelzi Flatbed?

Yes. The Flatbed uses exposed threaded fuel cap, no factory door. The recommended fit is the Small Fuel Vault door. Fully exposed cap.

How many doors do I need for a Scelzi Flatbed?

One door covers a standard Flatbed. If your truck has a separate exposed DEF cap, add a second door.

Do I have to drill anything?

No. The Fuel Vault bolts on using the existing filler area. No drilling, no cutting, no welding. Basic hand tools, about 15 minutes.

Will it interfere with my service body or upfit?

The Fuel Vault mounts to the chassis fuel filler area, not the body. It does not interfere with compartments, shelving, cranes, or racks on a flatbed build.

What is the warranty?

Limited lifetime warranty on the hardware, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. Free shipping within the United States.
